BODYBRAIN ALIGNMENT
Exploring the path of Self-Discovery
An Intersectional View
Philosophy & Ideas
The Process of
Self Actualisation
The BBA approach views people as inherently wonderful with unbounded potential and capable of accessing their inner knowing to make positive choices.
However, life experiences, limiting beliefs, and external factors may cloud this innate perfection.
How an individual approaches their life affects the functioning of their physical body, and how they treat their physical body influences the functioning of their mind.
Throughout history, organised religion has taught that deities either have transcendent characteristics or are perceived through external reality. Alternatively, esoteric traditions suggest that divine experiences can be found within. BBA explores the intersection between the internal, external and transcendent.
By aligning the mind and body through observation and healing, receptivity to the flow of the pattern of life (the external) and surrender to the transcendent consciousness, moves our awareness beyond the limited thinking of the individual mind. The knowingness that arises through surrender and receptivity can be integrated into the body to align with the nervous system in its most regulated state.
This tri-state development is the aim of implementing Bodybrain Alignment integral practices. In simple terms; emotional-regulation, overcoming patterns, and relaxation, leading to a state of harmony that can become the foundation for self-actualization.
The Individual Experience
The BBA life path focuses on the exploration of our personal experience, from inspiration to stillness and attaining inner harmony. This path acknowledges that when we feel good within we can show up for others and contribute to the world in a positive way.
The BBA perspective is about understanding oneself, healing and integrating the wisdom we gain from our past to achieve harmony, happiness, and success.
The BBA methodology empowers individuals to take control of their lives, create meaningful experiences, embrace self-discovery and transformation, and foster a collective shift towards positive growth and harmony.
This approach acknowledges that each person has unique experiences, needs and perspectives, so there is no single formula for personal transformation. Instead, the approach is about providing tools and guidance to help each individual reach their fullest potential and lead a fulfilling life. Crucial to this approach is creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore themselves. BBA community leaders provide guidance and inspiration to help individuals develop their potential and create the life they want through self-discovery, integration, and healing.
The Holistic Approach
Within BBA, the relationship between the mind and body is seen as symbiotic. We can learn practices that support the mind and body to work cooperatively to create a harmonious experience. How an individual approaches their life affects the functioning of their physical body, and how they treat their physical body influences the functioning of their mind.
The BBA methodology draws on influences such as yoga, mindfulness, meditation, alchemy and other self-care practices that encourage individuals to optimise their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. The combination of these practices takes into account the interconnectedness of physical and cognitive processes in shaping the way the mind and body responds to the world. Through the effective practice of self-discipline and attentive perseverance, integrated states that govern ease of living can be obtained.
The Bodybrain Alignment path provides tools to achieve alignment with cognitive and physical states, allowing individuals to unlock their true potential. The benefits of this approach include increased self awareness, dynamic personal growth, embodied empowerment to inform choice making, and alignment with your purpose and true nature, among other things. This path will also help individuals cultivate a sense of connection to themselves, others, and the world around them, further enhancing their sense of fulfilment and purpose leading them towards a life of self actualisation.
